Support for Remote & Underserved Cities – TEDx: 169to1®

We believe every voice matters. Hosting a TEDx: 169to1® event should be possible anywhere — not just in well-connected capitals or major hubs.

That’s why we’re building a support infrastructure designed to reach and uplift all participating communities.

What We Provide:

  • Regional Mentorship Clusters
Pairing new or remote cities with experienced TEDx organisers nearby for guidance, feedback, and moral support.

  • Flexible Event Formats
Options for pre-recorded talks, small-scale salons, and low-tech delivery where live production is challenging.

  • Event-in-a-Box Toolkit
Speaker coaching templates, branding assets, translation guides, and story development prompts — in multiple languages.

  • Microgrants & Sponsorship Facilitation
Targeted funding support to assist with logistics, filming, translation, or venue costs (especially in under-resourced areas).

  • Remote Story Curation
Where live events are not yet feasible, we offer pathways to submit stories for the global archive through virtual speaker mentoring and local filming support.

It’s not difficult. It’s just different.

And we are here to support you every step of the way.

If you believe your city or institution can offer a story — we will help you find the format, resources, and pathway to share it.
