How the Top 5 is chosen

The thirteen criteria define your organisation and what it could realistically take on. Every one of the 169 targets is compared against those definitions, and the five that fit most closely appear above. The more criteria you define, the more likely a genuinely well-matched target is introduced into the Top 5.

Criteria 4 to 7, covering your institution, your resources, what you want to affect and what stands in your way, can fit in part, so a target open to several kinds of organisation will still fit yours. Criteria 8 to 12, covering ease, timing, measurability, cost and reach, have to fit exactly.

Four of the criteria narrow the list rather than order it. Priority Mode limits results to targets that are either straightforward for you to deliver or pressing enough to need attention now. Flexi Mode sets how closely a target has to fit, so Strict asks for more than Loose. SDG Theme Mode keeps only one theme. The Blindspot Toggle shows only the targets that matter urgently yet are hardest to move, which is where momentum is most often lost.

Each result carries two onward links. The first opens that target in the SDG Traffic Light Toolkit™, already selected. The second opens its Proof Point in the Measurement Layer. The sequence runs in order: narrow by circumstance here, see what delivery depends on there, then find the one thing you can count to prove it.
